We are proud to collaborate and present our startup challenge addressing climate in the digital space
Digital technologies are giving us the tools to address some of the world's
major climate challenges.

They have the potential to support massive cuts in global emissions across
an array of industries and their rapid growth and deployment could make
a significant contribution to climate action.
We present two climate challenges addressing the digital space.
Does your startup tackle one?
Sustainable Digital Infrastructure
Does your innovation enable digital infrastructure
to be more sustainable?
-
Hardware and software solutions for energy-efficient computation
-
Power management and system efficiency in data
acquisition and transfer -
Reduced energy consumption of communication infrastructures and networks
-
Decarbonizing data centers and data storage
-
Reclamation and reuse of Critical Raw Materials
and hardware components

Communication infrastructures and data centers consume large amounts of resources and are the fastest-growing electricity consumer on the planet, compared to any other single industry. We need a more sustainable digital infrastructure. Both software- and hardware-based approaches must be implemented to reduce the digital services' resource consumption (energy, water and materials).
Climate and Carbon Analytics
Does you innovation deploy digital technologies to address climate performance and risk?

-
Evaluation, management, and reporting of footprint, offsets & impact
-
Climate intelligence for resilience and risk management
-
Climate positive investment platforms and financial products
-
Climate action planning and behavioral change

We need accessible and widespread digital platforms and tools that can be leveraged to better analyse and manage our climate impact.
